Following up on our phone call last week, I wanted to let you know how impressed we were with the team that came up and painted Milne Road. I’m just dropping you a quick note to express my appreciation for the work that you have recently carried out on our heritage building. I can’t believe how the paint and the new colour scheme has freshened up and transformed the old Post Office. We now have a building that we are proud to own and manage thanks to the quality of your workmanship.
We really do appreciate the time that you spent with us sorting colours and managing the contract including the work of the plastering, scaffolding and building contractors. We recently moved into our new build - a large architecturally designed home, in which the paint and wallpapering work was completed by Grant Jenkins Contracting (GJG). As well as being a complex and exacting build, there was also the added problems of extreme environmental conditions and working away from home in a rural area, that had to be addressed.
The house has a high ceiling stud, with some pitched roof lines, high rims skirtings, hardwood vanities, cedar doors and two large walls with designer wall paper. In fact, everything needed specialist painting, staining and papering. GJC work was meticulous, efficient and professional. It was a highly skilled team with excellent work ethics. Their expertise was recognised by judges in winning the NZ Painters award for their work on our home.
